NERD full-day in-person meeting on 29 March 9:30-16:15.

All CIPB members, affiliates and PhD students are welcome to attend the full-day in-person edition of NERD. It will be a great opportunity to connect with Durham and Newcastle researchers, to get a flavour of what an academic conference is like, and to review many recent and interesting contributions to our field.

11:15-12:30         Paper (basis for grant application) by Juraj Medzihorsky

12:30-13:30         Lunch

13:30-14:45         Paper by Maarja Luhiste and co-author

14:45-15:00         Coffee break

15:00-16:15         Paper by Gidon Cohen, Patrick Kuhn, and Nick Vivyan

 

All papers will be circulated to all registered attendees at least one week in advance.

The NERD is co-organised by the Centre for Institutions and Political Behaviour at Durham and School of Geography, Politics, and Sociology at Newcastle University. We meet 3-4 times during term time to discuss working papers, research projects, grant proposals, and Ph.D. dissertation chapters. The NERD convener for 2021-22 is Dr Anouk Rigterink, Durham University.
